02What we refund
Paid Paws still sitting unused in your balance, within 14 calendar days of the purchase that granted them. You do not have to explain why. We refund the portion of your purchase that you have not consumed.
03What we do not refund
- Paws you already spent. A conversation or a reading you received is delivered digital content and is final.
- Bonus Paws. They were included for free, have no cash value, and are not refundable.
- Purchases older than 14 days. See Section 7 for the rights that survive regardless.
One detail that works in your favor: when something costs Paws we always draw down your bonus Paws first and touch paid ones only after those run out. Your paid balance is the last thing to be consumed, so it is the part most likely to still be refundable.
04If something broke, you do not need to ask
When a reading or a reply fails on our side, the Paws it consumed are returned to your balance automatically and a reversal shows up in Recent activity on your wallet page. If you were charged Paws for something you never received and no reversal appears, email us — that is a bug, and fixing it does not use up your refund window.
05How to ask
Email ceo@subject0bject.com from the address on your Bori account, and include:
- the order ID from your receipt email, or the date and amount of the purchase;
- the email address you used at checkout, if it differs from your account address.
We reply within 1–2 business days. No explanation required.
Ask before deleting your account. Deleting your account erases the wallet and ledger that a refund is calculated from, and any unspent Paws go with it.
06How the money comes back
Refunds are issued to your original payment method by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, and the corresponding Paws are removed from your balance. The funds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Any VAT or sales tax collected is refunded with the amount refunded.
07EU and UK withdrawal rights
Paws are delivered the moment your payment succeeds, so before buying you tick a box confirming you want immediate delivery and waive the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that EU and UK consumers have for distance purchases of digital content. That waiver is what lets us hand you the Paws right away.
The policy on this page is offered on top of that, voluntarily: even though the statutory right no longer applies, we still refund unused paid Paws for 14 days. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence, and the dispute rights offered by your card network through Dodo Payments, are not affected by anything here.
